Our leaders work hard, serve others and are committed to living lives that honor Jesus.
Lead Pastors - Phil & Shanda Harris
Phil and Shanda weren’t born in Bend but they got here as quick as they could. They both feel so incredibly blessed to live in Bend and pastor such a fantastic group of people. As the parents of six amazing kids, most of their time is spent either in the car or on the ball field. Phil loves to bow hunt, fish and putter around in his shop. Shanda is an aspiring real-estate tycoon and taxi driver for their kids. They are both passionate to see Jesus made famous in our city and to help people become authentic followers of Christ.
Scott & Tina Hale
Scott and Tina know how to do life big! They have six kids, four of them boys! For them everything is an adventure, especially their relationship with Christ. Scott knows how to make things fun. If it involves adrenaline he will be there; mountain biking, free rock climbing, snowboarding. Tina caught the missions bug on her first trip to Paraguay at 16. She has traveled to 10 countries since then and can't wait for the next trip with their WHOLE family. The Hales don't know the meaning of a "stranger". As soon as they meet someone they are willing to make them a friend! They live life out loud, what you see is what you get, no judgement, no agendas. They live their life from the position, "If God is for me, who can be against me!"
Tommy & Angela Syzmanski
Tommy and Angela blended their families and married in August of 2015, and together have five beautiful children. Tommy and Angela run their own social media marketing company "Manski Media" and are thoroughly enjoying being self employed. When they’re not busy running kids to and from school and sporting events, you can find them on the lake in their boat or hitting the slopes on their snowboards and skis. While Tommy is passionate about serving, organization and order, Angela is passionate about the arts, encouraging, and loving others. They’re both secretly hoping to win the lottery so they can travel the world and bring people into relationship with Jesus.
Ryan & Kirsty Speyer
Ryan and Kirsty have found more joy in parenting their four kiddos than they could ever have imagined including a new and beautiful insight to how God loves people. When they aren't spending time with their family, you will probably find Ryan bow hunting in the woods or woodworking and Kirsty either hiking or paddle boarding. They became part of the Epikos Family in July of 2016 and are excited about sharing His love with the church and the city. Their favorite quote by Martin Luther reveals their hearts; "Live as though Christ died yesterday, rose today and is coming back tomorrow."
